The Role
The Lark Design & UX Research team is looking for a Fulltime Senior UX Writer! As an advocate for our users, this writer will set the tone for content and drive cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touch-points. This candidate will be proactive, passionate about ambiguity and problem-solving, and have experience balancing multiple projects and prioritizing them to have the greatest impact for their team and the company. Our ideal candidate will develop creative content for mobile and web interaction flows, as well as both apply and evolve Lark’s style guidelines within our design system. As an expert product writer, your portfolio includes examples of how you've defined and simplified user experiences through UI content.
 
What You’ll Do
Craft & deliver engaging content for our products & services across web, mobile & print
  • Write and edit in-app text to help users navigate our products across web and mobile, including Lark.com, Enrollment, onboarding, feature naming, guide experiences, error messages and more
  • Partner with Conversation Designers, Product Managers, Behavioral Scientists and clinical experts to edit & review coaching conversations
  • Understand how to manage business requirements and customer needs when building features
  • Evolve our content standards and be a champion for the best course of action
  • Strong ability to prioritize projects with multiple partners across different time zones
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, marketing, and many others to bring product experiences to life.  Handle quality control by working cross functionally ensure our products are appropriately and responsibly launched
  • Build compelling long-term strategies that allow content to scale globally
  • Use metrics and research to give counsel and validate your work
Support the evolution of our brand tone & voice
  • Work across multiple channels including web, product marketing, demand generation and events, creating and editing copy for a variety of projects
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to understand our product and create clear and engaging copy informed by your deep understanding of our target audience
  • Contribute to the strategic development of a project and promote conceptual thinking among the team and with your stakeholders
  • Partner with content teams on videos and interactive content
Deliver compelling brand awareness touch-points
  • Collaborate with marketing partners and Brand Design team members in shaping the evolution of Larks brand, voice, and strategy as our company and platform evolve
  • Create compelling copy within established brand guidelines and ensure our brand voice is consistent across all touch-points
  • Champion the needs of our users, and the business to identify gaps worth prioritizing
What You’ll Need
  • Relevant experience, ideally a combination of content strategy, UX writing, or copywriting for digital experiences — agency or product organizations preferred
  • Experience working closely with Product/Brand/Conversation Designers with a Design Team
  • Experience working with Product Managers, UX Research, and Marketing Teams (B2B/B2C) are also a plus
  • Driven, able to adapt and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Health Tech experience is a plus
  • Experience crafting and delivering engaging conversations for health programs and worked with behavioral change experts
  • Have coached & mentored UX writers, copy writers, content strategists, conversation designers
Working at Lark
Lark offers the option to work remotely in the United States.  For Colorado Applicants only: minimum annual salary is $134,000 (minimum salary varies for other geographies). You may also be offered a bonus, stock options and/or benefits.  The company is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
