The Role
In this role you'll get to own projects with real user impact and be part of a team of passionate engineers in a fun, collaborative, and engaging environment.  As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you’ll be embedded into the engineering teams to help ensure that quality and reliability are built-in from the start. This role will be responsible for leading the efforts to make sure that testing is top-of-mind, help drive best practices, and make it accessible, repeatable, and automated through development of frameworks and tooling.
What You’ll Do
  • Design and build of end-to-end test automation suites and frameworks for our mobile and web applications
  • Contribute to timely review of pull requests, providing insightful best practices for tests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product owners, and other teams to identify coverage areas and opportunities to integrate with the testing tools and frameworks
  • Champion a testing state-of-mind, best practices, and lead by example
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies
  • Evangelize new technologies, SQA process and tools with goals to continuously improve test coverage through both manual and automated processes

What You’ll Need

  • Development experience in JavaScript; Java and Python a plus
  • Experience with Appium, WebdriverIO, and other testing technologies
  • Experience with mobile testing - familiarity with React Native, preferred
  • Experience with web application testing - familiarity with the ReactJS ecosystem preferred
  • Knowledge or expertise in DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience in API testing a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Git and releases processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills when dealing with both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of Quality Engineering, CI/CD tools, and expertise with automated testing
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Working at Lark
Lark offers the option to work remotely in the United States. For Colorado Applicants only: minimum annual salary is $135,000 (minimum salary varies for other geographies). You may also be offered a bonus, stock options and/or benefits. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
