Hiring Process

1. Submit an Application

You can search all available openings here. Once you have found your desired position, create a candidate profile and complete the application. If more than one opportunity aligns with your interests, feel free to apply to more than one job.

2. Resume Reviewed by Recruiter

Our Recruitment Team will review your resume to determine if your experiences and skills are a fit for the position requirements.

3. Introduction to Lark

If selected, a recruiter will organize a time to connect with you. During this step, you’ll learn more about the role and the benefits of working for Lark. This is an opportunity for you to share more about your skills and experiences for the position.

4. Interview with Hiring Manager

If your skillset is a match for the role, you will have a video interview with the hiring manager. You will be evaluated on the key attributes of the role by further exploring your capabilities, experiences, and achievements.

Depending on the position, you may be asked to complete a technical assessment or prepare a presentation.

5. Virtual Team Interviews

If advanced, you will meet with additional stakeholders and potential teammates during a series of video interviews. This is an opportunity for you to gain further insight into Lark, the role, and your potential coworkers. Depending on the department, you will meet with 3 to 5 team members.

6. Offer

If you’ve been successful, we will extend a formal offer and request references. Once you’ve accepted the offer, a team member will be in touch to coordinate receipt of equipment and any other pre-boarding activities.

Interview Process Timeline

There are multiple factors that determine how long it takes to receive an update from us regarding next steps. On average, the interview process takes anywhere between 7-12 days, predicated on candidate and interviewer availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

 Nope! While we do have a corporate office in Mountain View, CA, our workforce is 100% remote based in the US and will stay that way indefinitely.

All Lark employees must be based in the United States for the duration of their employment.

That's OK! In addition to a laptop, Lark will provide you a gift card on your first day of employment to spend at your discretion. Need an extra monitor, keyboard, or vase for your plants? It is our gift to you 🙂

 We actively encourage people from different backgrounds and nationalities to apply for roles to further enrich our diverse organization. Please note that we are also bound by local labor regulations. This may mean any decision on visa sponsorship may be influenced by the level or nature of the role, and your citizenship / work permit status.

You should let your recruiter know about any work permit requirements as early as possible in the recruitment process. 

We provide some salary information for any role that may be based in Colorado in order to be compliant with local legislation. The salary listed in the job description reflects the minimum for that particular role in Colorado. The salary in an offer from us will be tied to the role you would ultimately be filling at Lark. You'll go into greater detail about Lark's compensation philosophy as you move along in the hiring process.
